Pretty simple: something on your profile that let's you post a date for your next planned snow day and the resort you'll be at, similar to the snow day log (and an option to add the day to your log after it happens).

Then you could put a new box on the ShredUnion mainpage that lists upcoming trips by date and resort.

Users would be able to coordinate trips to local resorts, share rides, meet knew local friends, or find someone to ride with in far off destinations.

You should make forum catagories more generalized.. Example: General Chat, OnSnow Stories, Gear swap, etc.. So that people can go to the right place to talk about what interests them without all of the clutter of random topics. Get Signatures too.

some kind of feature that helps riders plan trips together would be cool... there are a lot of directions that we could take this in though, so your opinions about what would be most useful are welcome.

I think there should be a tab, kinda like "Talk" but for videos, where people can upload/post edits of their own or other edits, which can be rated. These films should be organized into snow related and not.... (example, check out Newschoolers.com)

When I add a new snow day entry I'd like it to post to my Facebook new feed for all to see. In addition to being able to brag on FB this should also help drive traffic and new users to ShredUnion.com

How about being able to attach uploaded photos to your Snow Day log?

When people post on my profile page, I'd like to be able to click on a reply button on that post instead of going to their profile then adding comment.

I wonder if the replies should be threaded so that all the back-n-forth is displayed (expandable).

A way to tag where people are from in the country or where they ride. Preferable where they will be riding.
Color or letters or something.
So when I'm talking to them I know if I'll be riding where they are/ride. And vice/versa
and then people can quickly scan to see if anyone is riding near them that day that they can meetup with

it should open to a new window. The links in the FEED on the right don't do that yet

weather its a list of online members, or a list of all members. maybe catagorized by where they live or what mountain they ride at

can you divide the gear etc by mens and womens?
